Phu Phrabat used to be a sacred place for a long time and now become a UNESCO World Heritage Site. From here, you can take one of the most impressive Mekong views along the river in the region. Then re-aboard and begin your cruise experience. Enjoy the lunch on board as cruising in a few hours towards Nong Khai. Spend your evening strolling along the river promenade or bargaining at the colorful Indochina market. Have dinner and overnight on board.

The fifth day you will cross the river into Laos. Come to the small village of Pak Khading and join a long-tail boat for a trip up the Nam Khading River to visit a remote village. Then return back to your boat to continue your cruise to Thailand. Overnight on board.

As cruising along the River, you will see picturesque karst-mountains passing by. Then by a short bus ride along the mighty Mekong, you will reach the provincial town of Nakhon Phanom where you can take a short city tour on motor rikscha/ Tuk Tuk or on foot. This is where Ho Chi Minh president planned and organized the Vietnamese communist movement from his exile in the late 1920s and you can visit the house he used to live. Enjoy your lunch in a local restaurant. Return to your board to enjoy the farewell dinner at night. Overnight on board.

After breakfast you will disembark and leave for Ubon Ratchathani where you can visit the holy pilgrim center of That Phanom. According to the legend, Buddha came here to command that after his death one of his breastbones be treasured in That Phanom as a reliquary. During the visit to the temple and its Buddhist mural-walls along with well kept garden you will find the devoutness of the local pilgrims so impressive. Then transfer to a panoramic hotel and enjoy the superb views of the mighty Mekong. Dine and overnight in the hotel.
After breakfast, end service with the transfer to Ubon Ratchathani where flights to Bangkok are offered.
