Out of Vientiane at 7:30 am from your hotel. We arrive at the village of Ban hatkhay around 9:30 or 2 local guides will wait after preparing the picnic. We will travel by vehicle to Say Pha through the path that leads to the rice fields before arriving in the park. The trek will start at orchid Pha Say with his views on an impressive gorge of more than 40m high and thick jungle. We move on small trails and discover shade different forest types: semi-deciduous jungles, bamboo, accompanied by two guides and an expert on orchids. Do not be surprised by the abundance of orchids in some places, all the rocks are covered! Some habitats are extraordinary. We will also have the opportunity to learn many things about medicinal plants and other plant families such as: Cane, the Gingers, the Dypterocarpes... The picnic will be in the bed of a dry river a part of the year. The afternoon will end with a swim at the waterfall Tad Say before returning to the village.

Tad Leuk - Tad Saang - Vientiane
We leave the village by car from the village to 9:00 to get to the Tad Leuk waterfall (about 20 minutes). Of, accompanied by two guides and an expert on orchids, we will walk in a dense and humid forest along the river at times. This is a protected site and rarely visited. It will take about 2 hours walk to reach Tad Saang, a cascade of over 50 m wide and 5 m high or stings our niquerons. It is a beautiful place with a large pool, ideal for swimming. After lunch, we will leave the other side of the Nam Leuk to reach our starting point. The second part of the trek is rich in forest and varied landscape: dense, semi deciduous, bamboo, some places are provided in orchids ... We will have two hours to return to our starting point.
On our return to ballad, it will be possible to visit the information center Swedes with a multitude of photos, explanations on the fauna and flora of Phou Khao Khouay park.
Back to the village for refreshment and Vientiane has around 18:00 .
